Charitable Coaching
We have facilitated comprehensive, integrated Strategic Planning that has helped dozens of nonprofit organizations create a better future for themselves and their constituents.
Our initial step is to meet with the Executive Committee or a select group of board members to identify the organization’s strengths, discover which factors now prevent the organization from moving forward, and determine organizational priorities.
Then we lead a highly-interactive Strategic Planning session with the full Board of Directors and, on occasion, outside stakeholders. All participants share the responsibility of defining a Mission Statement and crafting a “big picture” Vision. The Mission and Vision form the foundation of all future activities, including formulation of SMART Goals and Action Plans.
Our extensive experience with hundreds of non-profits has led us to a major finding – most organizations do not fail to plan: they fail to execute! As a result, we use our “all hands on deck” philosophy to hold the organization’s feet to the implementation fire.
