Kathy Roth Eastman has recently joined Charitable Giving Resource Center as a grant-writing associate. Her most recent grant experience resulted in garnering funding of $844,000 for an Iowa community college through a State Energy Sector grant. In addition, she has written grants for nonprofit organizations, an Iowa university, and Iowa farmers. Kathy's background includes years of freelance magazine writing and editing; developing web content; researching, writing, and sending e-newsletters; writing and editing brochures, technical materials, textbooks, and more. Kathy has also organized and managed numerous conferences and events for both nonprofits and government agencies. She has provided training and educational programs for nonprofit organization, state governmental and a farm commodity organizations.
